I'm not sure about infants but the new bio_f screen saver in the latest
XScreensaver distributions keeps me mesmerized. I'll stare at it for
several minutes at a time sometimes only stopping because I accidentally
hit the mouse. Maybe there's something to that .....

It's especially pretty when you have full screen anti-aliasing enabled
on your video hardware.
