on the other hand, so its not completely off topic... anyone running on
sparc64's? if so, why would vi be seg faulting when trying to open 'large'
files, 10mb or so? is it just me having this problem? i've google'd like
madd and can't find anything useful on the subject.
i'm starting to miss vi!
i think the problem just started last week or so.. havent really upgraded
anything that SHOULD have broke it. opening smaller files work great. hm.
other than that, the ultra 10 has made a great replacement for my 1.4ghz
athlon xp.
also.. what is there cool to do with a load of ultra 1's?
originally i planned on sticking gentoo+openmosix on em, but didn't really 
read the
FAQ's on sparc prior, since there are none/not yet ported. now i'm stuck
with 7 or so ultra 1's that i really can't find anything useful to do
with. sort of afraid to power them all on anyways, with the current load 
in the
basement, hah.
