Read the qualifications carefully. A Master's Degree is preferred not
required. They require experience (real world?) and prefer a degree.

If people would read carefully they'd get better jobs with increased
chances of earning more money.

What I find interesting is they do not comment on the level or years of
experience.

Here is a hint though if you apply and do not have a Master's degree. Tell
them you're excited about working at their school so you can work and
attend their CS or Engineering programs at same time. They'll like that.
Whether you do later is up to you. If you can prove you can do the job
they probably will not care.

Required qualifications:
1. Coursework or experience in computer science, mathematics or related
technical field.
2. Demonstrated familiarity with Macintosh and PC/Windows operations and
software.
3. Experience in the operation, administration, and maintenance of UNIX
networks and services, including knowledge of the C programming language.
4. Experience in the operation, administration, and maintenance of a
TCP/IP network.
5. Experience in the diagnosis and repair of computer hardware.
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently on large, complex software
projects and to bring a programming assignment to successful completion.
7. Demonstrated oral communication skills and ability to work with users
on both technical and non-technical levels.

Preferred qualifications:
1. Experience in the selecting, specifying, and purchasing of computer
hardware, software, and network equipment.
2. Experience in the management and supervision of student employees.
3. Knowledge of one or more of Red Hat Linux, NetBSD, X Free 86, MATLAB,
Mathematica, Maple, SAS, Java, web development, PostgreSQL, and TeX.
4. Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
