Also pretty easy to run down I 35 South to 69 South and then catch 435 East to State line and jog 
North on State Line a few miles.  Most of this is 70 MPH and still pretty easy.

35 South => S.W. Trafficway to the Plaza, right on Ward Parkway, south to 
about 79th. where there's a Y to the right that puts you on State Line.  It's 
not 75 mph the whole way, but it's not difficult either.  Less than 10 miles 
South of the river.
