The Electronic Frontier Foundation's link here offers the opportunity to
send a letter as an E-mail.

But why not consider sending a letter through the "snail mail"?  With the
advent of E-mail, many Congresscritters do not receive as many postal
letters from constituents, which means that postal letters get more
attention than they used to.  In addition, you are seen as someone who
really cares about the issue, that you took the time to write or print a
letter, sign it personally, and used an actual 37 cent U.S.P.S. stamp and
an envelope to send your letter.  

I'm sending the EFF letter to both Kansas Senators as I've completely
forgotten which Republican Senator represents my area of Kansas.
