The course catalog says "Bring your own computer, Linux provided." 

Another E-mail you sent to the list says "the distro is Gentoo".  Thats a compiled distro, right?

If I brought in a Pentium 233Mhz system with 128MB of RAM, and its biggest hard drive is 2GB, would 
I hold the class back?  :)

Frankly, I'd like to learn how to install Gentoo, I've been wanting to do a compiled distro ever 
since Sorceror Linux came out.
