Another option...

If you have a mobile phone you can write a script that will send an SMTP
message when a specific condition occurs (daemon or something crashes).
Sprint PCS allows you to send an e-mail to
mobile_phone_number at messaging.sprintpcs.com and it will be delivered to
handset via an SMS.

Im looking for a utility that will page me on my cell phone when a daemon or
something crashes. What they hell would you call such a thing?
