It takes approx 6 hours to rip + encode a DVD to DivX 5 + OGG Vorbis in
OGM on an Athlon XP 1400+ w/ 512 mb SDRAM.

This is accomplished with DVD::Rip which is a Perl script that runs
decss and transcode (among other things). You can target the size of the
file you want when it's finished and it will tell you what the bit rate
must be to accomplish that.
