Chris,
  I have been into webmail for awhile so thats all I use now. Webmail is
nice because of easy access from any machine and its not dependent on
having a certain desktop environment (fluxbox is my wm of choice these
days). I have a PHP based webmail client (IMAP only however) at sourceforge
if you are interested.
