Ok, you can use the win 98 boot disk and fdisk /mbr once that boots.
Or, if you have a live CD of say, knoppix, or gentoo, I think you can do
that too.

Is there a utility for Linux like the fdisk /mbr method?

Just wondering. Found out he was using Grub and it makes it to the 
boot prompt, but when you try to boot either partition, the system 
sits there.

Any ideas?
