Getting a graduate degree

Hm, someone once told me that if you have to pay to go to grad school, you 
probably shouldn't be going. That's pureley anecdotal and not entirely useful, 
but I think there's some truth to it. Find out if you have to pay to go, if 
you do, look for a job first.

If you can't find a job and you already have a good amount of paid experience 
in your chosen field, then go to grad school. If you can't find a job and you 
don't have much experience, try like hell to get your foot in the door 
somewhere and go to grad school at the same time.

Bottom line, if you come out of grad school with an MBA and no experience, I'm 
hiring the guy with no MBA and some experience all other things being equal.
