Holy quick fixes, Batman!

On that page, just a little way down, I found this post...

"If you create a file called .htaccess in your ~/html directory where the 
config.php and all the other php files are located. In that file insert the 
following entry : 
php_flag register_globals On 
This should work. The proper solution to the problem requires editing the 
php.ini file but I do not have access to it and would not know what I need to 
change in it."

What could be simpler?  I thought.  So I tried it.  And I'm back in business!
