Yes, and don't forget
# last
(which will show you all last logins/reboots in a list/date format) so
you can also:
# last shelluser
or
# last reboot
-- if I remember correctly, this command can vary slightly by OS but
works good on SuSE..
btw: last uses a binary /var/log/wtmp (I believe) and there is also the
command
# lastb
which is supposed to show you failed logins via /var/log/btmp <-- but I
have never got this to work correctly, any ideas ?

There are a bunch of ways to get your uptime. Along with the 'uptime'
command you can also use 'w', 'top', and 'cat /proc/uptime' (the first
number is your uptime in seconds)
Depending on your circumstances you might also be able to ask Netcraft:
