I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that copyright covered 
specific expressions of ideas. And besides, Linus's original versions of some of these header files 
contained (in his opinion; not mine) flawed implementation of certain macros, different error 
numbers (especially in the i386 headers), etc. and that might even qualify them as being parodies 
of the ATT/BSD originals. :-)
