Sound on my Thinkpad 600e, & the wireless card

I tend not use use the sound too often on my TP600 but when I need it I
just load it manually with, 

modprobe cs4232 io="0x530" irq="9" dma="0" dma2="0"

This should give you an idea if the sound is working.
