   Now that you've clarified, let it be known that it certainly appeared
   to me that the above statement was racist and I apologize for
   interpreting it that way. I know it's nasty to have these sorts of
   confrontations and I hate doing it but I have a strict code of conduct
   -- it is the responsibility of the majority to protect the rights of
   the minority. I stand up for the little guy when I can and racism is
   something I don't back down on. I have to call it when I see it --
   it's what I do in my spare time.

   The globalization of our economy is tormentuous and violet and we are
   often the causalities. I am fully aware of the scope of the plight
   that our actions and those of the world capitalists have brought to
   our economies both here and abroad. Something that seemed to ring
   clearly throughout your post is a sociological phenomenon known as
   "blaming the victim". In this case, our IT industry has resorted to
   widespread psychological "distancing" that helps us as a society wash
   our hands clean by belittling and "them-not-us" verbiage. It makes my
   skin crawl every time I see it being regurgitated.

   To be fair, even if you were (not saying that you were) being a little
   racy above, it wouldn't be your fault more than anyone else's. This is
   an emergent phenomenon which develops aggregately across the
   population affected.
