What is Linux to you?

For me its several things:

1.	It's not M$
2.	Being a part of a community of people that build tools together, share
them freely, and trade their knowledge openly.
3.	Having complete control of your system. I don't know half the stuff that
my linux kernel is doing at any given time, but as long as I want to learn
it, it is there for me.
4.	A reliable, fast, and enterprise-capable OS for free!
5.	Tweaking and fine-tuning. What a way to spend a rainy afternoon!
6.	I wish that open-source could be a model for more business environments,
its an ideal that I believe strongly in and it is showing itself to be
viable despite the pessimists.
