RedHat system question

Morning LugNuts,

Have RedHat 7.1 system running D3 Pick. (SCSI HD) Was putting some Picm
patches on last night and whenever I issued a shutdown command in Pick,
I received the following at the console:

WARNING: Buffer allocation failed: Identifier removed.

Hit <Enter> and I get a command prompt... I'm able to do what I need to,
restart Pick, everything good to go. System seems to be fine.

Can anyone clue me as to what, why, etc?

TIA,
E
