Sound Problems

Try using the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) drivers for that chipset.

Libretto+50CT&chip=OPL3-SA2&module=opl3sa2

Then use the ALSA Output plugin for XMMS
http://www.xmms.org/plugins_output.html

Read the docs and make sure to use the right ALSA output plugin that matches the
version of ALSA you use.
