Gentoo Linux

Ok, so I followed the Install Doc perfectly, but when I try to boot
Gentoo, I get GRUB problems. At first it said "GRUB: Hard disk Failure"
which is an error where GRUB can't determine the drive geometry. I had
this problem before, but don't remember how I fixed it.
Now, when I try to boot, I get no errors, it just says:
GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB... continuously across the screen. Any
ideas anyone?

Depends on what all you want installed.
Gentoo Linux itself (no desktops), from Stage 3, will not take long
(since most everything is compiled). But you still have to worry about
desktops from that point.
Installing kde, gnome2, openoffice, mozilla, evolution, gftp, mrproject,
xmms, and mplayer from a stage 1 install took a little over 40 hours on
my pee3 with 512 ram.
