hard drive woes

Thanks for all the help. :)

I did d/l the Data Lifegaurd tools, should be able to
run that tonight hopefully. Some more info, this is a
1GHz Duron, 704MB Ram. I have a highspeed cable, but
did swith that out, and tried several configurations
of drives hooked up. I even disconnected everything
BUT the drive in question. The BIOS is uptodate as
uptodate can get.

Will play with some more things tonight. Thanks again.
