Attempt to 'scalar' the questions by providing a range of options to choose.
Like this:

How has Linux changed your enterprise's yearly IT expendatures (TCO)?

* It has helped us reduce costs by decreasing the down time.
* It has increased costs by increased down time.
* It has reduced costs by the decreasing the number of man-hours required to
maintain it.
* It has increased costs by requiring more knowlegable staff who demand higher
wages.

etc...

For every affirmative response there should be a negative one.

Also notice the question isn't affirmatively squewed. I could have said:

How has Linux helped your enterprise's yearly IT expendatures (TCO)?

By saying 'helped' instead of 'changed' I've subconsciously inplanted
affermitive bias in the survey taker.

Anyways, good luck on your thesis.
