cdrom won't mount with var. files

Thanks for all the help.  Rawrite is exactly what I used.  If fact I only realized to use my Win98 
machine once I had taken out one of its cdplayers then later returned it with RH8.0 still in the 
tray...boot the machine...and there is my RH 8.0 ready to self check the disk.  Great.

I reinstalled 8.0 on my older machine. Mounting the cd works.  I did have a little problem with the 
newtork but I plan on working on that tonight.
