Ok, continued story of "As the Stomach Turns."

Found out mysql.so doesn't exist on the system. Why? It doesn't come
with php, or MySQL??

Ok, so go to rpmfind.net.... type in mysql.so.... find
php-mysql-4.0.4pl1-9.i386.rpm.

rpm -vv -ivh php-mysql-4.0.4pl1-9.i386.rpm returns error: failed
dependencies: libmysqlclient.so.10 is needed by php-mysql-4.0.4pl1-9]

Sooooo.... rpmfind for libmysqlclient.so.10 returns a whole mess of
mysql-shared.blah.blah.yadda.yadda. Have no idea which one to
use....the ones I've tried, all conflict with the mysql installed or
shome sh!t...

I GIVE UP.

<rant> After second, and third thoughts... deleted. </rant>

Thanks again everyone,
E
