You might check if there are any apostrophes in any of you input fields.
Databases usually don't like them.

So, if when setting up nuke you were to call your site Bob's Web Site,
it could lock up Nuke.

Make sure your database is installed correctly.
You may have to install it manually. Thereafter,
your mainfile.php should load fine.

There exists some documentation in your phpnuke files on
how to install your nuke_DB manually. What DB are you
using? MySQL?
