Time issues on RH 7.2

...I figured it out.  My hw clock was set differently than my system clock.  I had a mystery reboot 
yesterday, which set the system clock to the hw clock, and screwed things up.
After setting the correct time again doing a:
# hwclock --hctosys 
fixed things up right nice.

You run RH 7.2, right?  Have you had any issues with the time / date changing on you, just out of 
the blue?
The time on my server changes all the time, most of the time it's wayyyyy off.  Today, I checked my 
backup logs, and it reported that it did *Tuesday's* backup instead of Wednesday's backup.  Because 
of this, it trashed the real Monday & Tuesday's backup.
Also, it's screwing up my logs, since the time jumps all around in them, and it makes them 
difficult to follow.
Any help / suggestions, would be great.   And if you need a ps -aux, let me know.  I'm not sure, 
but I have a hunch that something RedHat is running by itself to 'keep your server's time accurate' 
is what's causing this...
