There's no firewall install. I ran netstat -anp and I
noticed that a connection is established between
server and the client. I modified /etc/hosts.allow:

in.ftpd: 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0

just in case the tcp wrapper is doing it's thing. I am
still getting the same errors.

Anyone have another suggestion?

Thanks.
