What's your CPU, Memory, and Video?

I have heard that DVD playback is still not perfect even on the latest
hardware.  I tried to build a system with about a 700MHz chip last year and
an ATI All-In-Wonder, and we had problems with the playback being choppy at
times.  Depends on what your standards are, this guy's were absolute
perfection, so we scrapped the project.
