mandrake's mods to the OS (was Re: New distro)

You like if you use Mandrake Update to update your kernel, or you use 
--nodeps and --force on the installation of a new glibc RPM? No, I didn't do 
that last one, but I know someone who did. RPM installed, system didn't work 
anymore though....
