They went to the list like this one, once I forwarded them
to the list.  I could not see the bcc in my headers, because
it is bcc.  That is the point. I know I didn't receive the mail 
from the list, because the to line has the address that my
mailer puts on, not the address I am subscribed under.

Uh, the last 3 _did_ go to the list.  That's how you got them.
Check the headers, and the signature line.  The list was BCC'd.
