Annoucement of Local Rsync Mirror For Gentoo/Overland Park

I just thought I would drop a note annoucing that our new OP based Gentoo rsync public mirror is up 
an running and has been blessed as official from Mr. Robbins and company.

You can add:

SYNC="rsync://mirror.omnidox.com/gentoo-portage"

To your /etc/make.conf to ensure that you are using the mirror.

I am bound by the Rsync mirror rules to give the "official" location of the Rsync server in the 
Gentoo RoundRobin DNS:
rysnc11.us.gentoo.org

Have fun and I hope this small contribution helps Gentoo kick the crap out of Redhat ;-)
