I created an icon for a floppy device.  I didn't have to make any edits
to fstab or anyother config file.  The hotplug system created the mount
point for me when it detected the device, so all the work is done by
hotplug other than creating the icon on the kde desktop, and pointing it
to the mount point for the device.
