Timestamp question

Hey all,
Looking at a directory listing I'm seeing a few odd entries I'm not up 
to speed on.

Example:
drwxrwxrwx    4 root     guardian     4096 Jun 24 09:55 dir1
drwxrwxr-x    4 root     guardian     4096 May  3  2001 dir2
drwxrwxr-x    4 root     guardian     4096 May  3  2001 dir3
drwxrwxr-x    4 root     guardian     4096 Jun  1  2000 dir4
drwxrwxr-x    2 root     guardian     4096 Jan  2  2002 dir5
drwxrwxr-x    4 root     guardian     4096 Oct 19  2000 dir6
drwxrwxr-x    4 root     guardian     4096 Aug 29  2000 dir7
drwxrwxr-x    4 root     guardian     4096 Feb 27  2002 dir8
drwxrwxr-x    4 root     guardian     4096 Jul 13  2001 dir9
drwxrwxr-x    2 root     guardian     4096 Jul  2 14:26 dir10

On dir1 and dir10, what gives with 09:55 and 14:26 respectively where I 
expect to see 2000, 2001, or 2002?
