RedHat Linux 7.3 and Compaq Deskpro 4000

Earlier this week I downloaded and verified the images from 7.3 and burned
them to CDs. I will check later to make sure they are 700 MB CDs (from
reading a post on another mailing list). I have an older DeskPro 4000
(Pentium 133 MHZ, 106 MB RAM) with two hard drives (Maxtor 1.7 GB and
Western Digital 4.7 GB) and another IDE controller that has the floppy and
the CDROM on it.

I can get the installation program to start but it hangs and completely
hoses the CDROM (can't eject CD, no response, etc.). I'm using the boot
option hdd=cdrom (it's the slave on the second IDE controller, the master is
the floppy). I can reboot and/or restart the workstation and the CD works
fine again.

Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions for proceeding? Should I download an
older version of RedHat for this computer?

All comments are greatly appreciated!
