MessageTo whom this concerns:

I'm writing to you as the head of the local Linux user group. I wanted to
make you aware of Octave Software and the benefit we provide to Linux users.
Up until now, there have been few or no packaged enterprise class content
management solutions for Linux users and companies. I'm asking that you
circulate this information to your user group or anyone in the Linux
community who needs content management but hasn't been able to find a
solution.

Octave Software is a company comprised of content management veterans (same
leadership and funding that contributed to the early success at Vignette).
We designed a Java content management application that addresses many of the
deficiencies present in first generation content management solutions. (for
example, Linux support)

Weboctave, our flagship product runs on Linux and is designed to:
a.. Address the full scope of the content management problem: Creation,
Management, and Deployment
b.. Increase adoption of the software by providing a user friendly
interface and more out of the box features
c.. Reduce the total cost of ownership both in terms of implementation and
maintenance
I would be happy to speak with anyone who has an interest in finding out
more about Octave Software. If your group has a technology day or would
like to collectively view a webex demo of our product, please let me know
and I will arrange for a meeting. To learn more, visit our website at

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Warm Regards,

Chris
