Is procmail really that complex? I just located a "quick-start" guide on the web at http://www.ii.com/internet/robots/procmail/qs/#overview - claims to be published in a book and much linked to - and before you even get to "open .procmailrc in an editor" there are 33 pages of preliminary information. I don't think the sendmail-HOWTO is that long!
