vmware

A guy sent me a responce and I deleted it so I'm posting to the list. 
Sorry!

What distro. of linux are you running to get a guest Linux VM to run and
you video to work with KDE/Gnome? 

I'm running Slackware and it already has the vmware_drv.o in it.  I also
tried d-loading the one from VMware and it still will not work.

Any Ideas?
