Dumb Question

On the other boxes on your network you need to have them point to the Linux
box (internal side NIC) as the gateway (eg. 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1) and use
the DNS addresses that you were given by Comcast (24.16.152.15 and
24.16.152.17).
From: Brian Kelsay <bkelsay at askpioneer.com>

They didn't give me any DNS entries Brian, Comcast authenticates by machine
name using DHCP. I issued ipconfig /all on the Win2K side of this dual boot
box and got the DNS IP's.

I entered them in the DNS properties of the Win95 box behind the RH 7.0
gateway, using the internal NIC address (10.0.0.1) as the gateway. No ping,
no http from the Win9x box.

That's where I sit.

Thanks,

Eric
