  I think, since :C__:C__ is a trademarked name, that we need to come up
with an open source name (like "Gnu's Not Unix" for the software.  I'm
new to this stuff, but I think I have it right:

  Since it's a BARcode reader that mingles its data in the keyboard
Queue, bar-q.  Which doesn't infringe upon anyone's trademark except
maybe Coca-Cola's for Barq's Root Beer, hence the inserted hyphen.

  But it can also be pronounced like the root beer, homophonic to "bark",
which is what a dog does.  And dogs chase cats.  Rand fans might even
remember "barking cats", which is cool, too.
