Printers

	Make sure that any printer that you get from HP does NOT say 'Designed for
Windows...'.  I'd also check RedHat's web site to see which of those
printers is on the hardware compatibility list.  I bought a 722C, which was
'Designed for Windows...' and had to jump through so many hoops to get it to
work with Linux.

Hi All,

I'm getting ready to add a printer to my RH 6.2 box.
The following HP DeskJets are available for decent
prices right now: 648C, 842C & 932C. I'd appreciate
any comments on these reguarding reliability,
compatibility, drivers, etc.  (I use a variety of HP
DJ's at work. Unless someone can give a compelling
reason, I intend to stay with them at home.)
