2 NICs... Don't work...

It sounds to me like they are using the same IRQ or memory address.
Have you tried 'lspci' ? if you do not have that util, check
www.debian.org and get the source code from them =o) the package is
pcitools? I think thats the name of it.

If that doesn't work, I have heard something about adding both of the
cards to /etc/modules.conf with thier addresses. If I recall correctly,
linux may interchange the NIC's depending on which one it finds first on
bootup, so defining them in /etc/modules.conf fixes that problem
anyways.
