FTP Install

A co-worker of mine did. If I understand your question.
He pulled down the install via ftp and ran the install locally. He is a toal
Linux newbies and it worked for him, although he had several post install
configuration problems (CD and FLoppy access). Of course he cheated, he burned
a CD from the ftp. He also has cable modem access.
