Which distro is the most stable?

Zealots will always say Debian ;-). It might even be true, but Debian does everything slighly
different than everyone else (just to make things difficult for new people). I would reccomend
SuSE in a .2 or .3 release (meaning 6.2, 6.3, but NOT 6.0). RedHat has recently started pushing
code out early in order to meet release dates. Mandrake seems to have a good rep, but is pretty
new... ditto Corel. I've had good luck with Caldera in the past, but I haven't used a recent
version.

In any case, all in all I'd reccomend SuSE.

It is the absolute most stable and most tested of the distributions.
