Thanks to the people who sent me the patch to fix this.. Unfortunately,
I'm running SLS 1.02's Xfree 1.2 (note: 1."2" *NOT* 1."3") distribution,
and I don't have any plans to go to version 1.3 in the near future..
(the new features aren't worth it, and I don't want to spare the additional
disk space Xfree 1.3 needs either)

The SLS doesn't appear to have the link kit installed.. and I really don't
want to go messing about trying to recompile X server code, so is there
anyone out there running a PL9 kernel (library 4.3.3) with the patched
ATI driver for Xfree 1.2 that can send me an encoded binary of the server?
It would be greatly appreciated!
