Yes I do.

In fact I list this in the Linux FAQ (lpd section) as an unsolved problem
with lpd/lpr/lpc. Since the error does not seem to do any harm I'm not
frantic to get a solution but if anyone has found one please let me
know so that I can update the FAQ.
