Highly OT: I request your objective opinion
Hello fellow luggers, I cannot say that I know you guys very much at all. I am aware that there are both Christians and non Christians here. Those that claim not to be Christians also claim to be very objective, which one cannot deny to be a good thing. With this in mind, I would like you all to give your opnion on this video documentry that I have come across by chance. For all intents and purposes I think it is safe to give this an MPAA Rating of at least R. But I assume everyone on this list to be adults. I am not attempting to start any flaming, I just feel that it is my duty to pass this on to others: Here is the link, the first is to the original link from which I got it, the second is to a copy I made to my own site: [1] http://revradio.org/movies/ml.wmv [2] http://www.pembo13.com/pub/ml.wmv Thank you for your time Arthur -- As a boy I jumped through Windows, as a man I play with Penguins.

I watched around 10 minutes before I got fed up. There are salient issues relating to some movements in our country toward a police state. However, this video is a a waste of resources because, to any rational observer, it's alarmist, conspiratorial, paranoid, unoriginal, unintelligent, and offensive. To any fence sitter, this would almost certainly solidify a stereotype that anyone that talks about the dangers of a police state is a conspiracy theorist. -- Jason D. Clinton <me@jasonclinton.com>

First I would like to say that I am; a. Considered by most as a conspiracy theorist type and b. A somewhat open minded person who is willing to at least listen to other opinions With that I attempted to watch this and got about 20 minutes into it when I reached my limit of 'provocative' style journalism. Obviously this is made with an agenda in mind, in my opinion, that agenda is to sell soap - promote advertising on the Infowars website by catering to those who will want to see more of the 'facts' presented in a un-biased informative way. (perhaps my sarcasm is a bit thick there). At least it is something to get people thinking about something; and giving some thought to something other than who the next American Idol is going to be... Later, Steven

From what's been said, so far, I think my time will be better spent, on a similiar subject, by going to tonight's screening of "V For Vendetta."

I'm impressed. I only made it about 2 min into the video before I gave up. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD4DBQFEGFFEE5xXU3JS1mQRAjboAJjl5HZUqhylIBFxYgbbUowefxDDAJ9sLpaF w9uTsJDv0cjaWy3CicHtsw== =PmSa -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
