As it turns out, they do have different codes for the different OS's. However, the email they send you lists registration codes for each of the following platforms:

Windows
Linux Intel
Linux PowerPC
Linux Sparc
FreeBSD
Solaris
Mac
Epoc/QNX
OS/2
