You can use Samba to set the Linux box up as an imitation NT server, and a
Mac can then use it as a file and print server. Macs are fairly limited in
what printers they can access through a net, but no, you've got that
covered.

Your Macs will have to be taught TCP/IP over Ethernet instead of Appletalk,
but that's a good thing. You can use your Linux box to share a network
connection with the whole net and only pay for a single IP.
