Just re-run lilo to point to the label on the DOS partition. If
the label is DOS, like my dual boot, invoke lilo as:
/sbin/lilo -D DOS
and the default boot image will be DOS.
Rather than re-install, I'd use Win Partition Magic to
re-reorganize and reformat the Linux partitions you want to delete.
This is very easy and saves the Win98 or whatever partition, system
files and data files and you get back all of the Linux disk space.
This gives you an excuse to buy Partition Magic if you don't
already own the software.
