I don't know about reputable it is a part of knight-ridder, but It usually
gets the job done. The KC Star is the metro paper at http://www.kcstar.com
and Johnson county has the Sun at http://www.sunpublications.com. Either
would have some classifieds that may help you.

In most areas you can choose between cable and dsl. There is at least one
company, Everest that will sell you telephone, cable, and internet. Everest
is owned by Aquila. If you can get DSL you can choose from a few providers,
and Time Warner offers AOL, Earthlink, PlanetKC or Road Runner. It is all a
repackaging of the same thing, but each has some perks if you would use them
